Physical requirements

Do I need fitness experience to take part in FITMIT5?

You don't need any previous knowledge. Our selection ensures that there is something for everyone. Our exercises are also not competitive sports exercises, but exercises that you can do comfortably and easily in your everyday clothes at work.

Can anyone use FITMIT5?

If you have any health complaints, you should always consult a doctor. The contents of FITWITH5 (fitmit5.de) is purely for informational and health-supporting purposes. It is in no way a substitute for personal consultation, diagnosis and treatment by a licensed physician and is hereby recommended. The following are provided by FITWITH5 or SHENTI SPORTS Group GmbH makes no recommendations regarding specific diagnostic or therapeutic procedures or specific medications. The contents of the website cannot and must not under any circumstances form the basis for self-diagnosis or self-medication.

 

We therefore recommend that you consult your doctor if you are unsure or have chronic complaints to ensure that the type of exercise is suitable for you.

I am pregnant, can I still take part?

Some videos include stretches, forward bends and exercises for the torso. These movements are not suitable for pregnant women. In any case, you should consult your doctor beforehand to make sure that you are allowed to exercise and that there are no complications. As soon as the belly grows and becomes visible, please do not perform any more exercises in a prone position (bonus program), do not train the straight abdominal muscles, avoid strong backbends and rotations or only perform them as a gentle/light variation. Please avoid exercises in the supine position from the 6th month (bonus program). If there are no complications, you can continue to train your legs, bottom and back at a light to medium intensity until the end of your pregnancy. Interval training must not be carried out.

How effective are 2 x 5-minute breaks?

Studies have shown that it is not only the duration of sedentary work that leads to negative side effects, but above all the duration without breaks! For this reason FITWITH5 as healthy break management helps your health.

Who are the trainers

For years, Esther and Chris Bell have been among the leading fitness ambassadors and experts in the German-speaking world and are passionate speakers at national and international congresses. Where can I use FITMIT5?
You can FITWITH5 anywhere, even abroad. However, please make sure that you use a WLAN connection there or have an international flat rate, otherwise the costs incurred can be very high.
How much does it cost?

A single-user license costs € 85.00 per year / gross when concluding an annual contract. If your employer would like to enter into a contract with us, you can find the prices here.

What payment methods are available?

If you FITWITH5 through your employer, your employer will cover the costs. If you would like to purchase a single user license, you have the choice between:

  1. Direct debit/bank collection
  2. PayPal
Do I absolutely need equipment?

We have exercises with and without equipment, and you can choose under "Equipment" whether you want to train with the SHENTI-Band, the Peanut Ball or both. Even if you don't have a band to hand, you can still do all the 'band exercises' without it. Here you should keep your body tension as high as possible. Perform the exercises in such a way that you imagine that you are pulling a band forcefully with your muscle tension.

Can I use FITMIT5 offline?

Unfortunately not. FITWITH5 is available as an app in the App Store, but the extensive algorithm requires Internet access so as not to overload your device's memory capacity.

Why do I lose points overnight or why are my points not counted correctly?

There are no points at the top of the start page, but your training status: the SHENTISTATUS. It is calculated from your training behavior and is the sum of the training minutes you have completed in the last 25 days. A maximum of 10 points = 10 training minutes per day are included in the rating. The maximum score for your SHENTISTATUS is therefore 250 points.

How can I participate?

You have 2 options with FITWITH5 to participate:

  1. About your employer: Please send us a short e-mail to info@fitmit5.deundand we will contact you as soon as possible.
  2. As a private individual: Go to the menu item Registration and there you can register for the healthiest break in the world.
Once my company has registered me, what happens next?

You will then receive an e-mail with an activation link. As soon as you have clicked on this link, you will be redirected to our website. Now please read through the terms and conditions and confirm this by ticking the box.

Then you can click on the login button and log in with your login details from the e-mail. A short explanatory video about FITWITH5 can be found here.

I have received an activation code from my employer, where can I redeem it?

Go to: https://app.fitmit5.de/code
Enter your activation code here. Now enter your first and last name and a valid e-mail address. Check your mailbox and spam folder for the activation email. In it you will find an activation link to activate your account.

Technical requirements

FITMIT5 can be used on a desktop PC, tablet or smartphone.

We recommend the latest version of the Google Chrome browser, which you can download here. https://www.google.de/chrome/browser/desktop/. If you train with your smartphone, your internet connection may not be stable enough. We recommend that you train via WLAN. Please note our technical requirements:

I have created an account, but I can't log in.

For data protection and security reasons, we use a "double opt-in" procedure. You can only use your account once you have activated it via your e-mail. Please check your e-mail inbox and spam folder and click on the activation link.

I have forgotten my password! How can I request a new one?

Simply go to Login and then click on the "Forgot password" link. You then just have to enter your user name (e-mail address) and we will send you a new password.

Can I use FITMIT5 on multiple devices?

Yes, you can FITWITH5 either as an app or browser version on multiple devices.

Can I save my favorite videos as favorites?

Yes, you can save your favorite exercises as favorites while the exercises are playing. You can then find them under "All videos". Ideally, your favorites should not be your favorite exercises, but rather exercises that you are not yet good at. Favorites are therefore exercises that your body needs to work on its weak points. "If you don't like it, you need it".

Why don't the videos play?

First check whether you are using the right browser. We recommend the latest version of the Google Chrome browser, which you can download here. https://www.google.de/chrome/browser/desktop/. If you are training with your smartphone, your internet connection may not be stable enough, we recommend that you train via WiFi. Please note our technical requirements:

Why does the video freeze?

Videos can freeze if your internet bandwidth is too low. You need at least a speed of 1 Mbps with low latency. We recommend checking the speed of your local network with a tool such as Speedtest: http://www.speedtest.net/. If you are using our application on mobile, make sure that at least half of the device memory is available. You can check this by going to Settings under Memory on your device.

What can I do to improve the video and sound quality?

The quality of the video and sound depends, among other things, on your internet connection. If the connection is poor, this will affect the video quality. The quality often improves over the course of a workout. Audio requires less bandwidth than video, so the sound should always work. Ideally, the speed should be at least 1 Mbps with little latency. We recommend that you check the speed of your local network with a tool such as Speedtest. http://www.speedtest.net/. To ensure good video and sound quality and to prevent your mobile data consumption from skyrocketing, we recommend using Wi-Fi whenever possible.

Is my connection secure?

Your connection is always secure when you do your workouts. Our service is constantly monitored, checked and updated to ensure you have secure access.

Which fields do I have to fill in when registering?

As a company employee, your only mandatory field is your e-mail address. Would you like to FITWITH5 as a private individual, we also need your full name, address and telephone number.

What happens to my data if I no longer use FITMIT5?

In accordance with the data protection regulation, all user data that is no longer active is regularly deleted.
